R&D PROGRAMME

Our R&D effort is focused on optimisation of the dtect technology. This entails development in the following areas:

 

Scene illumination

Image capture

Image processing

Application geometry

Integration of multiple dtect units to view one car from different angles

Reliability and Maintainability

Cost Engineering.


 
 

Our current R&D priority is to complete the design of our barrier approach model. We will then transfer focus onto the HOV and Toll Lane models.

In addition to our dtect optimisation effort, we are beginning to formulate ideas for a new occupancy detection technology. Due to need to protect these ideas in advance of a patent application, no further statement will be made on this technology in the foreseeable future.
